Green Inspectors of New York
Code of Ethics
The intention of this code of ethics is to establish for the members of Green Inspectors of New York,, clear standards of professionalism and conduct. Therefore, the following ethics shall be binding upon all members of this association.
Green Inspector members shall present themselves as a “no conflict of interest” third party and perform all duties with fairness and impartiality.
Green Inspector members shall do their best to ensure that their client fully understand the reports and conclusions submitted therein.
Green Inspector members shall conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.
Green Inspector members shall not submit false reports or information to their clients.
Green Inspector members may provide additional information on further tests or remediation as long as “no-conflict of interest” exists.
Green Inspector members should be aware of federal, state, and/or local laws that may apply in the area where testing and remediation occurs.
Green Inspector members shall not withhold any pertinent information from their clients regardless of the outcome.
Green Inspector members shall not be influenced by any other parties to change a report’s conclusions for personal gain.
Green Inspectors members shall not disclose client-specific information to other parties except to that client.
Green Inspectors members shall maintain their competency and service level to clients through continuing educational training. |
